ABOUT
Versailles Self-catering cottage is an old-world style unit for 4 people, and is located in a converted woodworking factory.
Upon arrival your hosts, Amelia and Derik Jacobs, will give you a warm welcome and ensure you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
Comfortably furnished, the unit has 2 bedrooms that share the use of a private bathroom with a shower. The main bedroom has a double bed, while the second room contains 2 single beds.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a stove and oven, as well as a microwave, and guests can relax in the lounge.
Versailles Self-catering cottage is semi-detached from the main house on the property and has a lovely garden, and safe parking is provided on the fenced property
The cottage is centrally located in a safe semi-industrial area of Wellington.

THINGS TO DO
Horse trails
Fynbos Horse trails, operating from Diemersfontein, offers rides through the wine farms. Short trails as well as one to three day trails are all included in these packages.
Walking and hiking
Various walking/ hiking trails to choose from in Bainskloof Pass.
Permits must be bought from the tourism office.
Mountain biking
Welvanpas is a popular mountain biking trail.

Arts & Crafts in Wellington
As a close-knit community, Wellington embraces local arts and crafters, home industries and local produce.
The town boasts two leather factories, one of which, Redemption, is as synonymous with Wellington, as it is world-renowned.
Exquisite yarns, knitwear, throws, blankets and rugs are available at the Alpaca farm.

Wellington Museum
Wellington Museum features not only the cultures of various African ethnic groups, but also prides itself in having ties with countries as far afield as the USA, England, Scotland, France and the Netherlands.
The museum exhibits Stone-Age artifacts, Egyptian artefacts and exhibits of various pioneers who made their mark on the history of Wellington and South Africa
